„Perfektion“ oder „perfekt sein“ – was heißt das eigentlich?
Und ist das überhaupt erstrebenswert oder ist das nur eine Anpassung an die von der Gesellschaft vorgegeben „Normen“?
Ich finde, es gibt nicht nur ein „perfekt“, nachdem wir alle streben sollten, denn jeder Mensch ist unterschiedlich und auf seine Weise mit all seinen kleinen Macken ganz besonders!
Genau wie in meinem Post „I’m not perfekt, never have been, never will be“ bereits erklärt, ist es meiner Meinung gar nicht erstrebenswert, diese „Perfektheit“ zu erreichen. Denn wie der Titel schon sagt, „ich bin nicht perfekt, war es nie und möchte es auch niemals sein.“!
Irgendwie verbinde ich mit dem Wort „Perfektheit“ so ein gesellschaftskritisches Wort – „perfekt“ ist nur der, der nie bei rot über die Ampel geht, niemals lügt und immer nett zu jedem ist und sich irgendwie in ein bestimmtes Schema reinpresst und das ist meiner Meinung nach alles andere als erstrebenswert!
Ob nun groß oder klein, dick, mittel oder dünn, ob Anwältin oder Putzmann – jeder ist auf seine Weise gut, so wie er/sie ist und genau das macht jeden Menschen irgendwie auf seine bestimmte Weise eben doch perfekt. Natürlich nicht auf diese gesellschaftliche Art, in der jeder eine gerade Nase haben muss und nur gute Noten in der Schule schreibt, sondern dieses gefühlsmäßige perfekt, das jeder für sich selbst definiert und das den individuellen Menschen einzigartig macht!
Jeder sollte für sich seine eigene Definition von „Perfektheit“ haben und diese ganz groß in die Welt rausrufen, sodass niemand das Gefühl haben muss, in der Gesellschaft nur anerkannt zu werden, wenn er/sie sich an ein bestimmtes Schema anpasst. Gerade die Besonderheiten, ob nun äusserlich oder charakterlich, machen jeden Menschen besonders – einer hat Sommersprossen, der andere hat zwei verschiedene Augenfarben, der eine kann gut singen und der andere ist dafür ein begabter Koch.
Man kann nicht alles können und sollte nicht immer nur darauf aus sein, alles leisten zu können, was der Nachbar oder Kumpel gut kann, denn jeder kann andere Sachen gut. Das war doch schon früher in der Schule so – einer war gut in Mathe, dafür konnte der andere die Sprachen besser. Es gleicht sich einfach aus und wenn man akzeptiert, dass man so ist, wie man ist, dann ist das schon ein richtiger Schritt, in die richtige Richtung.
Ich war ich vor einigen Jahren bei einem tollen Bloggerevent von Rossmann und Dove, bei dem wir über Selbstbewusstsein und Vorbilder geredet haben und da muss ich gerade die ganze Zeit dran denken, denn ich habe als „End-Statement“ in dem Dove Video gesagt:
Jeder Mensch, der mit sich und seinem Leben zufrieden ist und das auch ausstrahlt, ist für mich ein großes Vorbild!
Denn genau das ist es, was mich beeindruckt. Egal, was manche Menschen schon durchgemacht haben, oder was sie für Probleme und kleine Macken haben, wenn sie selbst gut damit leben können und einfach glücklich sind und dieses Glück und ihre Lebensfreude auch nach aussen hin ausstrahlen, dann ist doch total egal, wie sie aussehen, als was sie arbeiten oder was sie in ihrer Freizeit so machen, denn genau diese Eigenschaften machen jeden von uns auf eine ganz individuelle Art perfekt.
Was sagt ihr zum Thema „Perfektionismus“? Strebt ihr an, perfekt zu sein oder nehmt ihr euch mit euren kleinen Fehlern an?
